Summary

So what Samsung focus in this Galaxy Note, it’s seem they aren’t prepared this for truly tablet segment, at least they are not targeting on IPad Segment. They are felt table are truly for substitute the Simple Netbook computation or perhaps more. Can you image that.. people now can be confused, what is the limitation or difference between Smart phone and Tablets if they are using a same Type Of CPU chip? same brain but different dimension on display? They shall say that : "CPU using a same chip performance like Ipad2 but the mobile type, less battery consumption, really balance between speed perfomance "
           There are no different dimension between Iphone4Gs and Iphone4. So the next Question is that worth to move iphone 4Gs or Still Sticky on iphone 4G?
           My opinion It's much worth to wait until Iphone5 launch next year.. I am really sure after Ipad3. This Iphone 4Gs it's just some of the apple strategy to exist in the market and not eroded by another rival (Samsung, Lg) that offering a nice Technology until the next Iphone5 ready to launch.

RIM seem know their number fans decrease and already move to Android Os Phone and Apple. This doesn't made Rim stop their movement. On 3 august 2011 Rim Introduce the new 2 blackberry Torch that will be runnning at Blackberry OS 7, a new Black berry os that Demoed a months ago. The First model of torch will be same model like last year touch screen and slide keyboard, the second model would be touch screen only with 3,7 inch wide phone display. Android demand could be a monster (Droid Monster :P ) for apple, one of many android device that really promised stand and face IPhone 4 in the same level, that can be describe in this Samsung Galaxy S II soft launch.

Enthusiasms come at soft launch Samsung Galaxy S II, happened in Pacific Place South lobby 23 July 2011 Jakarta, every one come, one day before the soft launch promo. For this promo Samsung prepare 1200 unit of Samsung S II.

I hear from my friend, he come at 08:00pm(one day before soft launch) and he got 290 queue number, some of website www.kaskus.us write queue reached 1200 people before 03:00am. Schedule said the store start sell the s2 10:00 am, but they reschedule and start sell to at 08:30 am.

If we compare with iphone4 launch that I read from here : "there are 120 people waiting 10 minutes before the store open ", but the difference apple doing soft launch some of their branch.

So what makes people really want to have this Gadget?

Here another Tablet PC Tabulet Troy; cheap , local made, but using a same IPAD2 Chip.

At the Up side we got some Volume control, menu, back and power buttons.

At the right side : HDMI port, jack 3.5 mm, adapter socket and USB port, at the bottom side we got infrared.

Tabulet Troy using a solid plastic for Finishing at the case and black aluminum coating at the lcd frame not really disappointed with price 312 USD.

In this demo unit I got Tabuled Troy still using Android Éclair 2.1, make sure they upgrade to android Froyo 2.2 before you purchase.

The 7” Inch LCD using resistive input method, but it really sensitive not likes the other resistive LCD that still need some press.

Menu

When accessing some menu swipe your hand One page to another page sometime accidentally you pressed some application. I think It need improvement in their sensitivity touch. The movement from another menu to another menu enough fast and still smooth.

Audio and Video Perform

The speaker sounds normal and quite loud, when playing some music and movie. The movie not lag quite smooth and no glitch as it said before.

After we played about 30 minutes, the back case felt a little bit warmed m especially when we play movie with HD format.

For All, Think this Tablet PC enough fair the features and perform when tested.
The Statement “Using Same Ipad 2 chip” makes people wondered ist that’s true? A same fast as IPad?, internet connectivity only depend with wifi… that we shall be consider..

Do you know about hippo product? my first introduction with Hippo product it’s from

www.audiophile-id.com and from jaben network Singapore www.jaben.net

My first purchase hippo products from jaben network are hippo boom with bundle Fiio e5 and Hippo Mp3.

But a several week ago my friends purchase hippo Grove, I little curious what is the predecessor boom improvement?

Both Hippo Groove and Hippo Boom are IEM (In Ear Monitor) type of head phone, so this ear phone have silicon tips that able to isolate sound in your environment . Both silicon tips provide good Isolation, this silicon are soft and comfortable when used more than two hour.

For testing I am using several DAP:

Lets start to do some Test :

1.The First song 1 Niki Minaj “Your Love”

Hippo Boom:

The powerful bass felt really good for this song, as we know the hip hop song usually dominant in their bass. From The beginning until the end of this song would be felt really satisfied . the simple boom from this song felt deep.

Hippo groove:

For this song hippo Groove not really bad, Bass still felt and soft. Not too strong and not feel like floating bass but enough deep

2. Second Song Jung Sungha “Hazy Sun Shine”

Hippo Boom:

Instrument for guitar felt really rounded and you will felt the vibration wave from this song

Hippo groove:

It’s different from the hippo boom type. This song extraction felt detailing in this guitar instrument and sharp but soft. The bass really balance with the instrument from the guitar. The acoustic atmosphere when you’re listen to this song won’t be eliminate with bass dominant it’s really different when you listen the “Hazy Sun shine” using hippo boom.

3. Third Song ann Sally “twilight Beguine”

Hippo Boom:

In this song vocal and acoustic almost covered with the bass from the hippo head set.

Hippo groove:

Ohh… sway and really enjoy this song.. Each word that sing from the singer (vocals) felt really appears, the acoustic felt detailing just like when I listen “Hazy Sun Shine”, bass really balance and nice not weak but the power really nice.

Summary:

Hippo Boom:

Hmm. The hippo Boom bass felt really powerfull wild and rock hahaha…. I am one from all the people who like bass domination… but this ear phone really nice when you listen for the song with dominant bass.

Hippo Groove:

Hmmm.. not like the usual ear phone with the detailing acoustic, usually the ear phone with detailing instrument usually too sharp your ear would be tired if listen too long.. This is really Different from this ear phone; the treble detailing, the vocal appear and not covered, bass enough powerful but not too dominant and balance. This is the nice combination.

My own oppinon:

I am usually like to listen song ; jazz, bosas jazz, Blues, Mandarin Audio phile, accouctic jazz, hip hop, pop. Hahah almost all :P.
But my main genre is Bosas jazz and Accoustic jazz, So I’ll prever to have Hippo Groove.

Update Garmin Asus M10 Firmware m10_v6.15.0

Writer not responsible with all the cause of the damage or error and failed during the flashing..

I wrote this by own experience upgrading my own device, and run well :)

Here the Preparation:

1. Check the lastest version of Garmin Asus M10 Firmware at here(Official Website from Garmin Asus): http://www.garminasus.com/en_ID/support/m10-software-updates.html

2. Download Garmin Asus M10 v.6.15.0 Firmware: http://www.garminasus.com/en_ID/support/documentation/m10/M10_V6150_WWE_app_IDN00.zip

3. Download the user guide and read the manual before update the firmware: http://www.garminasus.com/en_ID/support/documentation/m10/M10_V6150_WWE_app_IDN00.zip

Note:

Before you update the firmware, please make sure the battery has at least 60% of power capacity.
All the data in device will be flashed during firmware update. Therefore, please backup all personal data (Start Menu -> Backup) before update firmware.
Turn off the firewall during the flashing Rom
Close all the unusable application to make the installation progress run.without error.
Required pcsync installed that come with the Garmin Asus m10 CD installation

How to check your current firmware:

Turn on your Garmin Asus m10
Go to the start menu->setting-> system information-> version
My Rom version M10_V4.18.0wwe, The system information will shown like this picture below.

Okay now it’s time to update your Garmin Asus m10 for the lastest firmware…

Here are step by step how to upgrade Garmin Asus m10 firmware:

1. Before flashing rom you need to back up all the data or using your pcsync, because all the file will be erased.

2. Extract M10_V6150_WWE_app_IDN00.zip into your specific folder.

3. Before run the installer don’t forget to:

Connect your device into your computer using the data cable and set into pcsync mode
Don’t forget to turn off your firewall and close unusable program.
In this flashing progress you don’t need internet connection.
At least 60% battery power.

4. Run the M10_V6150_WWE_app_IDN00.exe this windows will appear click next.

5. This is the notification remind you to connect the device and do the Synchronize before installation.

6. And The system will read the information of your device

7. Your Device will be restarted automaticly and show blank black background with progress. And your pc will be show this status bar. Wait until the installation progress status bar complete and don’t unplug your usb from your device, even your device failed during the flashing.
If your device failed during the flashing don’t unplug usb from your device and run the installation again.

8. After the upgrade room finished. The windows will show like this.

9. And Your device will show like this picture, and follow the instruction that shown from your device

10. After flashing finished Your device will automatically installing the program. Do not, shutdown your device and wait until the windows mobile started, and set some in formation and accept the eula like the first time you purchase garmin asus m10.

11. The device restarted after auto installer done indicate that your device are successfully upgrade the firmware . To make sure your device using the latest version, Check start menu -> setting -> system information -> version. Your device finished upgrading firmware into m10_v6.15.0.

Hehe.... now you're using Latest firmware and flashing by your own self...

The diferrent using this firmware felt after two days:

The perform menu transsision increased.
Freezing menu are decreased
Battery life increased.
